David Adedeji Adeleke (born November 21, 1992),[1][2] better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian American recording artist, performer, and record producer. In 2011, he co-produced and released “Dami Duro“, a song well-received throughout Nigeria. Along with his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido is the co-owner of HKN Music, a record label home to Sina Rambo,[3] B. Red,[3] and DeeKay.[4] He has produced for numerous artists, including Naeto C, Skales, Tiwa Savage, and Sauce Kid. In April 2012, he signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria.[5] On October 23, 2013, Davido partnered with Guinness for the “Guinness World of More” concert.[6] Davido has won a BET Award, a Kora Award,[7] a Channel O Music Video Award, a Ghana Music Award, a Nigeria Music Video Award, two MTV Africa Music Awards, three The Headies Awards, four Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and two Dynamix All Youth Awards, among others.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido relocated to Lagos at a young age. He released his debut album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012, which contained the singles “Back When” featuring Naeto C, “Dami Duro”, “All of You”, “Overseas” featuring Sina Rambo, “Ekuro”, “Gbon Gbon”, and “Feel Alright” featuring Ice Prince. Davido has released “Gobe“, “One of a Kind”, “Skelewu“, “Aye“, and “Tchelete (Goodlife)”, five singles from his upcoming album; the upcoming album, currently untitled, was slated to be released in the fourth quarter of 2014.[8] In a 2014 interview with the Nigerian Tribune, Davido said that his second studio album will not be released in 2014.[9]

-Since when have you been in the musical industry?
Hmmm…suprisingly av not been long in the industry. A year and 3 months. Judging by the first time I ever set foot into a studio

My stage name is Fisayo

-What inspired your genre of music?
I’d say my brother,he was always mymin krayzie bone’s verses wen I was yung.wen I grew up I started listenin to it nd it became part of me to rap nd speak fast.dat was wen I took it as ma genre.


-What are your future plans for the industry as an Artiste ?
My initial plan was to be the pioneer of chopper style in nigeria buh I think we now have uzikwendu. now I’ve got  plans to show ma versatility along the line I’d rap in yoruba,would sing pop,dance all and maybe RnB.’s.


-Which Artiste would you like to work with in the nearest future?
Well presently I’d like to feature ice prince, reminice comes along d line. And uzikwendu for sure.

-What are your advice to your fans and upcoming Artiste?
Ma first advice is dat dey get there hearing aids. (Laughs) just kidding.I may advice them to turn eye away from other things I do and face my music cause am a very funny person nd I mostly don’t take things serious until there’s a dead end. Y’all should look out for Fisayo and I in turn won’t let y’all down.
