Helen Paul Opens Multi-Million Naira Film Academy

 

Helen Paul, Nigerian media personality also known as Tatafo, has opened a films school called Helen Paul Theatre and Films Academy.

The Films Academy is described as a multi-million naira project and according to Helen Paul, the opening of the academy is a dream come true, having nurtured the ambition from childhood. She explained that the effort is also geared towards contributing her own quota to the development of the entertainment sector, and education in general.

She stated, “Right from childhood, I have always looked forward to a day like this –when I will float a school that will help build a better society devoid of charlatans. For some years now, this project has been in the making, and I thank God that it has finally come to stay”

Some of the courses that will be offered in the institution include Cinematography, Acting, Video Editing, Photography, Dance, Basic Presentation, Costuming & Sewing, Hair Styling, Sound Engineering and Graphics Design.

The comedienne, singer, actress, compere, and journalist is definitely creating an admirable platform for the Arts in Nigeria to grow.

Tiwa Savage, Forte Oil’s Brand Ambassador and the Executive management of the Forte Oil PLC visited some of the company’s retail outlets in Lagos to engage with customers in commemoration of its 2014 “Customer Service Week”. Bride-to-be gets Pregnant after having Sex with Dwarf Stripper on Bachelorette Party Night

A Spanish bride-to-be got a little too wild on the night of her bachelorette party.
She had sex with one of the male strippers, who was a dwarf and had come to entertain guests, and subsequently became pregnant Daily Mail reports.
Sources say she kept the incident a secret even after the wedding. However, the truth was revealed after she gave birth to her baby earlier this year, and discovered the child was a dwarf.

“Neither her closest female friends nor her family knew she had had sex with the dwarf stripper.

But once she had her son in her arms, she broke down and confessed what had happened. As you can imagine no-one that sleeps with a stripper at her hen night broadcasts it, or at least they try to take their secret to the grave,” said a source.

Buhari Formally Declares Intention to Contest in 2015 Presidential Election

Former head of state, Muhammadu Buhari, has officially declared his intention to run for president in the 2015 elections.

He will be contesting on All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, according to Sahara Reporters.

Buhari made the announcement today at Eagle Square, Abuja.

During his speech, he stated that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was responsible for the poor shape of the nation. He promised to make the country better if elected.

Here are some excerpts from his speech:

“The interference in the wish of the people, which PDP has practised since 2003, is the worst form of injustice: denying people their right to appraise their candidate. Whether they like it or not, injustice cannot endure.

Since 1999, PDP has presided over our country’s decline. Nigeria, in my experience, has never been so divided, so polarised by an unthinking government, hellbent on ruling and stealing. We in the APC are resolved to stop them in their tracks and rescue Nigeria from the stranglehold of PDP…

I want to pay tribute to Nigerians who are enduring all sorts of hardship and degradations on a daily basis.

Many are grappling with extreme poverty and barely eking out a living. Nearly all are in living in the fear of their lives, also of their friends and family, due to insurgency by the godless movement called Boko Haram.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is everyone’s duty to resolve and help overcome these immense challenges. I will like to appreciate members of our armed forces under the new leadership. I will also like to commend the police for their efforts in confronting these challenges…”

The event was attended by Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi; Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole; Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola; Governor of Nasarawa State, TankoAl-Makura; and some former governors and APC members.
